Killswitch Engage adalah sebuah band Metalcore Amerika dari Westfield, Massachusetts, dibentuk pada tahun 1999. Killswitch Engage's lineup terdiri dari vokalis Howard Jones, bassis Mike D'Antonio, gitaris Joel Stroetzel dan Adam Dutkiewicz, dan drummer Justin Foley, band ini telah merilis lima studio album dan satu DVD.
Killswitch Engage bangkit untuk ketenaran dengan rilis tahun 2004 The End of Heartache, yang memuncak pada nomor 21 di Billboard 200, dan bersertifikat emas pada Desember 2007 untuk lebih dari 500.000 pengiriman di Amerika Serikat. Judul lagu, "The End of Heartache", dinominasikan untuk Grammy Award pada tahun 2005, dan sebuah DVD live berjudul (Set This) World Ablaze dirilis pada tahun 2005. Killswitch Engage telah mengikuti festival seperti Wacken Open Air, Reading dan Leeds Festival, Ozzfest, Download Festival, Rock on the Range, Mayhem Festival, dan Australian Soundwave Festival. -Sang Vokalis dan drummer mempunyai side project yang bernama The Blood Has Been Shed.
